I am wanting better throttle response. It just seems like when I hit the gas, its takes a second to get going for some reason. I have done all the routine maintenance and such like plugs, wires, etc. I also have MSD ignition, JET chip, exhaust and March Underdrive pulleys. What else could I do to give me better throttle response without spending alot of money since my budget is kinda tight due to hunting season.

If you install headers you will get some more throttle response. the way the stock manifolds are they create alot of backpressure for the front cylinders

a home-made cold air intake would add throttle response a lot. My hunting season suffered cuz im in college and have no money.

should get the holley 670 cfm throttle. I hear great things about it.

I see you have a'95.
How many miles on it?
Have you done a compreesion check?
I ask because your mods make me think you might be a 'hard driver'.
Consider wear on the engine as a possibility.

I havnt done a compression check and I have about 135,000 miles. I am really not a "hard driver" but I do drive it hard every now and then but not alot.

If his compression was found to be poor, what exactaly could he do about it?

I have a 91 with 135000, so I'm curious.

Poor compression means motor repair.
If you are luck it could just be a valve job, if not then a complete overhaul is in order.
