so here is my stock $175 dollar v6/stick blazer that i have been building for the last 2 months.

custom header for the 3.7 motor.
wanted a 60s 'fenderwell' header look, that's why all the crazy tubing. will be sent out to be high temp coated white.

WAY COOL! Yeah, that thing is screaming for a lowering..

it'll get lowered after the paintwork is all done.

the back half/tubbing will be done after the new year.

gettin my drop on!!

cut off a coil and added 2" spindles and bam... on da'bumpstops!! ive got a set of 3" drop coils coming, but i needed to see where it would be sitting.

right now its at the top of the tire. the tires over all diameter is a bit small, i will check and see if i can find a bit taller tire. right now the cross member is about 2 inches off the ground. im thinking i need to z the frame to get the low i want and not to run into any scrub line problems.

maybe even 'body drop' the truck about 2 inches which would also help to get the super low look im going for.

this one isnt going to have air bags.

painted jambs red, layed out the stripes, painted the black, peeled the paper and clear coated..

got the tailgate painted..

now all i need is a 4" cowl hood, anyone got one of them layin around?!?!

Semi-glossed the chassis and core support. Not sure if the core support will stay semi-gloss or go full gloss, but as of now i dig the not shiny..

got the rear windows tinted, go the correct wheel lug nuts for the centerline wheels, and started detailing the engine.
i wont have time to get the firewall done in time for me leaving, but at least i can get it cleaned up for the show this weekend.

Wow! Great progress in just a couple months. I wish I could paint like that!

thanks man! im on my way back to afghan, so im tryin to get this truck all ready to get to the suspension shop to get the rear tubbed while im over seas.

then to the interior shop...

then back to my garage.

this way my wife has something kick ass to drive when im not here.
