Anyone ever take this off? Or even know what I'm talking about? My rear u-joint broke, and the driveshaft smacked into this, throwing it out of wack. What do you think will happen if I take it off? Thanx

Mine has one and that thing is alot heavier than i thought it would be. I think its supposed to help with vibrations and noise...I dont know if its possible to take the balancer off the yoke. Can you do it? If you can I might try that because I dont like mine.

Well, I'm affraid that if I do, it's going to be a lot worse... And don't know if I'm gonna have to put a spacer in there to take the place of it or not.

I dont think you would need a spacer...the balancer shouldnt hit on anything i dont think...if you or someone can verify that it is possible to remove the balancer from the yoke...I will do it and see how it is since mine already vibrates like crap anyways.
