Well

Well, if it's a good shop, then they shouldnt make you feel like a moron! But, to help you out, to bag your truck you'll need:

-- 4 bags (2500 or 2600 lbs)
-- 2,3,4 link
-- C-notch or step notch (step notch requires cutting hole in bed)
front mounts
-- Rear mounts (unless they are on the link setup, some differ)
-- Airline
-- Valves (depending on what you want to do, F,B,S,S or just F,B you'll either need 4 or 8 valves.
-- Airtank
-- Compressor(s)
-- Misc wiring
-- Fittings
-- Pressure switch for airtank (turns compresser off and on when psi in tank drops below a certain point and raises to a certain point)

-- Shock relocators for front (unless you use Shockwaves which are hella expensive)

I think that covers it. Anyone think of anything I missed?

Not sure on this but.....

I know on some X-cab S-10s to fully lay frame you need a different tranny crossmember, you can get that from Alter Images, they are good people to deal with. Are you doing this yourself or is a shop doing it?

if you have a shop around that specalizes in suspension work like that they probably wont make you feel like a moron they will be more then willing to tell you what you need and how it works etc etc....alot of these places dont make enuff money to make they're customers feel stupid and get a bad rep.....

How low are you wanting to take it and are you willing to do heavy mods and welding ? If you help me establish a base line of what you are wanting to do with the truck and what the truck will be used for I can help you with the appropriate product.

Well if you are going that far with it I would definetly plan on running a tri-angulated four link in it and changing the gas tank to a rear mounted fuel cell. I would also box and smooth the frame that will be visible from inside the bed. In the front you could use something like my coolride front kit along with a set of dropped spindles. In the rear I would definetly use a set of F-9000 like my four link uses in order to get you a good ride and plenty of lift. As for the compressor system........ the sky is the limit.

Air ride is located in IN but I have dealers all over the place. Where are you located at and I might be able to refer you to a shop in your area.
