I'm looking into bagging my truck but I have a few ?'s.
1)I live in Canada so the winters here get cold sometimes. Will the cold weather make the bags weak or cause them to crack?
2) How long of a lifespan do these systems last? and what type of maintence do you need to do to them?
3)what would you recomend as a good setup 4 my truck?

Thanks:thumbup:

i dont think the cold has anything to wear the bags.......its hard to say what kind of setp-up to tell you to get when we dont know how fast you want it, how low you want and all that good stuff........also the maintence is like this.....if the job is done right, you shouldnt have that many problems, if you run your compressors all the time, they have a habit of burning out.......just common sense......tell me what kind of setup you want and how much you are looking to spend.....there are a few guys on here who could help you

You could have problems with condensation freezing up in the lines over the winter. The best thing is to use your system as little as possible throughout the winter months to reduce the amount of moisture going through the lines. At the same time, you want to run air through every once and a while to exercise the bags. You're bags should not crack, my b/f leaves his empty all winter with the truck parked and has had no problems with the bags.
The lifespan all depends on how you treat your bags and naturally where you buy them from. Firestone, Easy Street, Air Lift all have good dependable bags. Maintenance is minimal on air systems, you just want to make sure you keep everything clean and it's good to completely empty your tank once a month to get out any built-up condensation.
As far as a good setup for your truck, it all depends on personal preference. I could price out a few setups for you (I'm in Canada as well) and if I can't help you, then [email protected] could also price some stuff out for you.
Let me know what you might be interested in.......... Easy Street Kit (check their website at www.airliftcompany.com) or Air Ride (www.airridetech.com) or mix and match kits. All up to you............... :D You're best bet is to do some research and see what you're interested in.

HELP ME GET LAYED

Thanks for the info guys..thats a lot to consider. I want a very reliable system that hasn't been know to have problems. I've never looked into them before so I hoping that you can all help me choose the best out there. I want something fast . I'd be willing to spend @ $4000(canadian funds). I have to get thinner tires first though cause I have 235/275 so I've been told I need 205(215 max). I have 2inch drop spindle and 1 inch drop spring in the front and 3"block 1" leaf drop in the back. AND I AM LOOKING TO LAY THE FRAME(or close to it).I'm looking for a set-up that would require me to cut the least out of my bed. Any suggestions now? Thanks.

I can have you laying frame for less than $4000 CDN without cutting your bed.
I'll PM you later today.............. :D

For all you US boys, $4000CDN is about $2500US
