With aftermarket wheels, you can't just say one size is going to fit 100% of the time if it's one of the sizes that's close. Just make sure you fit the wheels before mounting the tires because you usually can't return wheels that tires have been mounted on. 18" is big enough that you shouldn't have tie rod clearance issues, but again, not all wheels are alike.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that diagram is wrong. Back spacing is measured to the outside of the wheel. Not the tire bead surface. That's where wheel size is measured.
It does show offset very well.
This isn't a perfect Photoshop repair, but it's correct:
