Can anyone tell me how to make my back glas on my blazer quit sqeaking before it drives me insane.

lol welcome to the club. there are a few things that can cause this but the main fix is to try putting some tape or permatex on the guide pin and latch. that ususaly clears it up.

ok well i had to replace mine, and now it wont close? I tried putting the original latch on, but no dice. any suggestions?

the latch should be adjustable. also you might want to see if you can adjust the catch in the tailgate.

the latch an pin move a little, but nothin there seems to work, how would i go about adjudting the mechanism?

just take off the cover for the tailgate and there are two studs with nuts on them you can loosten them and adjust the mechanism up or down.
