SMG motoring in Mendon,MA.
I've got a dyno appt Friday the 25th anyway. Just didn't know if any of yall had ever heard of them, or used them/ knew someone there. Never hurts to ask right?
Well, now that I've got the appt already I ask...but what's new.lol. hope yall are well. I'm just sick if the dog of a 5.3 tune I got over hptuners at MayhemMotorsports in NC, and dont really plan on going back there either...I'll be in the Sutton,MA, Around NH area for the week anyway so I'm trailering White Trash to get some other "Honeydew" done I've been slacking on. I also made it a point for full spectrum," thermometer in my tailpipe" diag. For the stupid 02 sensor problem I've been having in for 3 years..( low voltage, no read, just I'm fine, oops I don't exist, what's bank 1?,I'm bank 3! And the other Muppet condos they seem to be having with one another and I'm never invited to the party. I've traced wiring I've traced grounds I've replaced, I've....you get the point; time fir a shop smarter than me to figure it out and MDK that stupid light for-ever..Also now that I've done a semi half ass job of swapping break in fluid from fresh trans, I want to pull the filter, flush system, replace my flushed lines with new shiny black ones I've had hanging I my shop for 3 months in, and fill with some Amsoil torque drive I've again: had sitting in the corner for 3 months lol. So yeah..anyone heard if these guys, or be in the area? Hit me up I reckon , well if your bored and want to thrash on someone else's rig lol. I will include 🍺 lol

Mayhem Motorsports, RPM, Blazing High Performance, RPM, Tick, Aduadale Speed Shop all use to be big names when web sites were booming. I follow a few of them on Facebook. Just remember, its still a 4.3, not much to be had with a tune on them compared to a V8.
Stupid autocorrect: SMG MOTORING
Yeah my buddy was at RPM FOREVER, left fir MayhemMotorsports maybe 15 years back. Don't remember where he's at now, but we built his Nova 383 in high school and ran that dog to death! Can't recall how many pistons went thru it, but had the sane heads on it from high school lol.
And yes, at heart it's still a 4.3, just has more cubes, an angrier cam, and forged internals with the comp and arp studs, bolts, retainers, springs, etc to boot, oh and the input drum and crank get cranky if ya forget to mention the billet they're comprised of...but who cares...I'll be happy to get the 02 light off my dash. And it's never bothered me , but apparently (if it doesn't come up to temp before engaging a gear, it surges a bit) goes away in 30 seconds of idling down the street at 1100rpm ish. Or just put it back in P, and wait an additional minute to drop rpm to 680-850 ish. BUT apparently it bugged my father so much he wants me to ask about it while it's on the plug so there's that too. Admittedly needs to be leaned out around idle and low rpm when I had my AFR hooked up, sat fat. It will Rev to the moon but makes peak hp/to around 35-3900 as I recall. Last dyno was 6 years ago almost Geez, time flies..4.8 93 tune, I'll be happy with whatever the number is because with gas prices as they are, I've been shifting around idle and coasting to a comfy 40mph hwy 😆 but hey! I'm up to 8mpg city! So it's really only costing around 20-25$ a day to run it around raleigh/cary all day
