If it does turn out to be a fuel pump (sounds like it) do yourself a favor and get the factory AC/Delco unit. Look around for someone that's willing to sell at a discount. Cost at the dealer for my 4.3 is $410. I got one thru work for $387. Still alot but what ya gonna do??I've tried 2 Airtex pumps and the sending unit is way off.
