I know there are many posts about tire sizes, but i searched and couldn't find an answer for my question...
I have some new style ZQ8 wheels headed my way and i need some tires. I have a 94 ext.cab S10 with a 2/3 drop, what size tire would look good and not give me problems with rubbing?
Thanks a lot everyone...oh yeah, pics would help too
Ok, sorry to drag this up again but the local tire shop wants around $370 for a set of 235/55/16. THey don't have any in stock, but they have a set of 225/60/16 on sale for like $280. they are 80,000 mile summits...will these work on my ZQ8's without looking stupid?

Here's mine with a 2/4 on top of the ZQ8 and 245/55/16's all the way around.
I wouldn't reccomend going with the 225/60/16 you were asking about. I know they may be cheap, but they will look like ass. I know, I had a set on my truck a few years ago. Plus you should be able to get about the same price on a set of 245/50/16's. It's a much more common size than the stock 235/55/16.

How is it going to looking like ass? It's only .4 tire height different and the width is 10millimeters shorter? Granted your tires do look good cause they are wider but they won't look bad imo.
If you run a 245/50/16 then your tire will be .6 shorter than a stock 235/55/16.
here is the 225/60/16 on xtreme wheels ---- truck is a little lower as its tied down on the tralier still
i think thier too skiny i really like the 245/50/16s on the 8 inch rim they give it a good look and actually protect the wheels too casue they buldge(sp) out off the rim more ? if thats makes any sense so that the edge of the rim is no so flat with the side wall i have a pic with a 4-5 drop and 245/50 on it and it looked great
