Recently tried hooking up a punch150a2, and all wires are good, except when i hook up any speakers it shuts off. Im thinking the channels are burned. Anyone know?

Yep,sounds like the audio output chip in the amp has a short somewhere.

do you think its even worth getting it fixed or should i just get a brand new amp?

Depends on what you have in the amp now. If you`ve only got $25-$75 in it,I`d send it off and have it repaired. If ya got more than that in it,I`d look for a new amp. Thats just my opinion though

There coudl also be a dead short in the speakers. Try hooking up another pair.
