any Hypertech geniuses out there?

I've rec'd my Power Programmer that I purchased off of Ebay Motors and found time to program my truck today.
To my red eared, veins bulging out of my kneck dismay, the programmer still has the seller's truck info in its memory! According to his auction add, he reprogrammed back to stock (which is what has to happen to program a different vehicle).
I just emailed him waiting to see his response, but in the meantime, before I call Hypertech, is there anything, outside of sniping this *******, I can do to resolve my dumbass problem?:eyes:

Bummer about your luck.

If the seller does shaft you with this one (report them to ebay), Hypertech has reset programmers for people in the past. Contact them and give them the lowdown.

I have heard of Hypertech charging $100-$150 to reset them, that is the chance you take buying from ebay sometimes.

Call hypertech! Tell them you took your truck to the dealer because the Service Engine light was on. And the dealer reprogrammed your computer.
My instruction book says "call hypertech at 901-382-8888"
tell them "your program has been overwritten"
and "calibration not found"
and have your VIN handy!

Hope this help some

good news!!! (so far:(

the seller of the programmer has contacted the new owner of his old truck and will be reprogramming the truck back to stock.
I've shipped off the unit back to him and once finished, it will be mailed back to my hot little hands at which time I'll be plugging that male cable into that diagnostic port faster than a rookie porn star plugs into his costar!!!!

p.s.- let's hold off the S10 posse until I receive the programmer back, seems this guy is doing all the leg work to make my deal right. thanks for the moral support guys/gals.:02redxbla
wooh hooh!
