Has anyone tried the AIT sensor mod? (putting a 4.7k resister on the disconnected sensor, so that the computer thinks it is getting colder air than it is) Does it work, and can it hurt anything?
Don't even bother with it, mods like this are really pointless, the computer is smart enough to know what is going on, if you do a search I bet you will find a few discussions on how the computer compensates for this mod and cancels it out. While the theory of it sounds like a good idea, it doesn't work like you would think it would.
I bought the IAT relocation kit from jet. It simply moves the sensor up to the airbox, so that you can get a cooler reading. I don't think I would waste time with the resistor though.
