So what's up guys so I acquired my father-in-law's first gen S10 single cab that had bucket seats after he suddenly passed. He installed some aftermarket racing seats and I noticed after sitting in them I'm sitting incredibly too high what is the quickest easiest way to get them lowered or would I have to purchase new seats or new mounting brackets... thanks in advance

Also - Use minimum of Grade 8 (preferably 10 or 12) bolts when mounting the seats and rails. If you get into any significant accident with the lower grade bolts, they will shear off and you will take an extra ride. Well worth a few extra $$ to keep it safer.

Those look like Wedge or Planted seat brackets. I had horrible luck with the fitment of the Wedge brackets. Either way, both brackets will put your seat about as low as possible in these trucks.
Also, the sliders are pretty much all the same height. If you wanted to mount the seat directly to the brackets in a fixed position, you would gain an inch or so.
Other seats may have a thinner bottom cushion, which would also gain you some room.
