For all those who decide to pull the dash out of your 86-93. Beware of the screwed in holder, that holds the main harness to the dash. I spent forever trying to figure out what was holding my dash in, and not wanting to break it to pieces. A 7mm wrench and a lot of cursing later I got it. Attached to the back of where the cluster sits, right under the hvac duct was the culprit.
I hope the GM engineer who thought that was a good idea burns down under for that one. Just a rant, and letting the next guy know what to expect.
