So I live in South Louisiana and we don't normally get a lot of cold weather. Well we had some 15 degree weather with freezing rain the other night. When I got in my truck the next day, everything with the ac/ heater system was a no go. No fan motor, no compressor, just nothing no matter what setting it's on and I know 100% that it was working just the day before cuz I drove it. I don't even know where to start. Any ideas?

Hopefully you didn't have pure water in the engine. Not something you southern boys run across much, but from about 27°F on down water expanding can break things. Including engine blocks. Seen it more than once up here. Doesn't need to be below zero to do damage.
Although the -15° here every night is getting old. Coldest winter in the upper midwest in 25 years.
