I'm replacing my 97 S10 doors with 95 S10 doors and door panels. The 95 has power windows, locks and mirrors. My 97 does not. Before I do this, what do I need to know or have that may or may not already be in the wiring of my 97. Do I need to grab the fuse box from the 96 or will my fuse box already have the necessary slots to accommodate this procedure?
Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You definitely should grab the fuse box and any wiring going into the doors. You'll also need a 95 set of wiring diagrams.
I'd grab this of eBay before the auction ends today. You'll never find a complete set this cheap again.

Wiring from truck/blazer will be supported just not added to harness on original door, use all wiring from door to truck power features will not work till all doors are "connected" to master switch. You will need to add breakers to dash fuse box and fuses and you should be in business. NOTE: gm loves to change stuff mid stream so pull kick panels truck side the wires should be four heavy awg wires blue, brown, Grey or tan and then yellow, w green and light green. Yellow and tan for speaker. Small Grey and orange for PDL. Pass side. You'll find the same on drivers side w more added for other switches.

if you can find 98 up doors and panels they look nicer, are more servicable as in, its easier to find 98, 99, 2000 etc door parts in the junk yard than the 95.6.7 parts.
Also, autoloc.com has a really easy to install wiring harness for power doors you might look into if you dont want to try to figure out the GM wiring.
