It came to me in a dream.
54 dodge panel truck sitting in a field. I'd never seen an uglier rust bucket, i had to have it.
With a 95 s10 blazer 2wd and a 97 s15 jimmy 4x4 available, i bought both for this crossover.
Using the seats and plastic from the 95 and the chassis and drive train of the 97 4x4.
Here's what i managed to salvage.

Primitive and rot

Blasted and primed. Ready for s10 floor

Fold down rear seats and tunes. 2000 escalade headliner w/rear ac was a must.

Inserting the s10 firewall lining up front cab body mounts.

Fresh 97 4.3L, 4l60E refurbished with a complete new suspension.

I was able to keep the og w/shield. New 1s arent readily available.

Nicely done project. A nice fusion of 'older' and 'newer'. For an even uglier rust bucket, you might have considered a PT Cruiser. :p

I really like how you integrate the firewall. It looks very factory!
Thank you very much, at car shows, ive seen some really ugly seams under the lip. A few experienced car builders i know have said the same as you when they come over.
I take that as a great compliment.

It just goes to show that there's really no substitute for good workmanship. There are those among us that appreciate it, and then there are those that are oblivious and/ or don't recognize it or don't care.

Agreed, ive always tried to make things better along the way..
No matter the project. My friends call me, Capt. Overkill
