They're the same height, diameter, and material as OEM... just made by SPC instead of GM.
They're the same height, diameter, and material as OEM... just made by SPC instead of GM.i am all original, sans the bilstein zq8 front shocks, lower bump stops, and 225/60r16 tires
i plan to just throw the ones i have on as-is and trim em down if needed because i can find those oem-exact fits locally to compare and measure. slightly taller bump stops will probably help more than hurt considering its 20+yrs old
sorry i had a typo, meant to say "i canT find those oem-exact fits locally to compare and measure"They're the same height, diameter, and material as OEM... just made by SPC instead of GM.
right on, yeah they are marketed as trim-to-fit.Mine sit about 1/2" below the frame. But like what was said when you were asking in another thread a while back, I would guess the bump stops you have will be pretty harsh. It can't hurt to try I guess since you already have them and it'll be pretty easy to change to the OEM style ones if they're too harsh for your liking. Energy Suspension developed them at that height for a reason, so maybe they'll be fine. I'd put them on, see how they ride, and trim to fit or replace as necessary.
these are good to go at full height, no trimming needed. i wont try different heights because i am happy as they are.does anybody know how tall the front lower bump stop should be? mine is a 2000 xtreme 4.3l
i have these: Energy Suspension 9.9101G
basically it is a cut-to-fit bump stop
i suppose i have a few pairs laying around and could try different heights and report back too
