Thanks!

Right now I´m not moving forward as fast as planned, everything takes so much time to figure out:p
Been working on the inner fenders, I want to be able to fit large wheels, keep alot of the original equipment, and get it pretty "sealed", so I won´t have the whole engine bay filled with gravel, since it´s gonna be my daily. I´ll try to remember the camera so I can show you guys some pics of it.

First time off the jack stands! Feels so good:rotf:

Got 4 days off during Easter, so will hopefully make some good progress, the plan is to build the bed in those days. After that it´s disassembly time, smooth the firewall, paint and the assembly!

The first local, annual, meet is the 18th, if I step it up i might be able to make it:rolleyes:

Thanks!

Yeah, the "almost done" feeling is probably better than the "done" feeling:)

Threw the bed on today, won´t happen much to the truck tomorrow, but hope to have the dump function setup on monday. The bed is so bad that I won´t put to much work in it, will try to find another one to fix next winter.

Have anyone out there build a bed for a BD truck with fiberglass? I´m thinking like pre-runner fender, and an aluminum "core", could probably save a few pounds on the truck!

Aaaand of course I couldn´t just fix the bed fast, now I have spent a week fixing rust, and still got a couple of days more worth of rust-fixing, the bedsides were mostly bondo...

But once that´s done I can finally pull it apart again!

Well, this is my first build, and I´m starting to understand how long it takes to put a car together :D
Almost done with the bed, will fix some pics some day.

But! If everything works out as it should I´m going to pick up a 1950 ford shoebox! It needs some work, and I have promised myself to get the s10 rolling before I start on the ford, so that should speed things up!

Thanks for asking!
I have had some problems trying to decide how I want to do the bed, but I think I finally decided.
So the cab and front end is finished, I got some work left on the bed, and then its time to pull it apart, paint and run all the lines.

I´m not dead! Just resting...

Took a break from the truck during the summer, bought a rusty, pos 1950´s shoebox that takes up alot of my time. Right now I´m rebuilding my first transmission, a 700r4.

Bought a kick-ass AC/DC tig-welder last month, that will come in handy when we build my brothers driftcar this winter, and I´m sure I can find some use for it on the truck :D

The plan is to have the tranny back in the ford in 2-3 weeks, and then start on the truck again!
