Been welding fillers for a couple of evenings, feels like it´s going good!
Today I testfitted one of my brothers wheels, from his bmw, to keep me motivated:)

The tire in the pictures is a 225/35 r20.

Thanks guys!

The fillers I angled as much as I could, left about an inch at the bottom, and cut along the frame on the top.

The wheels aren´t mine, not yet atleast ;)
They are from my brothers e34 540, but he is look to get rid of them, I just need to make sure the fat-ass rear wheels fit!

God I´m too lazy to update!:p

I have worked on the firewall this weekend, feels like it´s coming together nicely! Have also got the new bag setup finished, went from 5-link to 3-link, not really satisfied with the shocktowers, but they will have to do this season. I´ll hopefully finish the firewall and tubs this week, then it´s time for the really fun stuff! Gonna build me some low, bomber-styled seats, so my thighs will fit under the steeringwheel;) And I´m sketching on a kick-ass tall shifter too!

Thanks!

Manly bobbed it so it would fit in the garage ;)
I figured that if i build a dump bed I might aswell make the last part of the frame bolt-on and integrated in thedump setup, so I can lift it all off with the bed if needed!

Yeah that would be nice!

Right now I´m pretty bummed, everything has been going so smooth with the truck the last couple of days, and now I got a fever and a cold... I need all the time I can have on the truck, still hoping to drive it in may :p

Anyway, spending some time shopping stuff for the truck, shipping a fuel tank from the US aint really cheap!

I have been looking for some stuff that I cant seem to find, maybe someone here knows where to get them?

I need the rubber seal that the steering column goes thru inte the firewall, mine is torn to bits. Also the rubber mounts for the radiator, found some here in sweden, but they were almost 100usd for a pair! And I also want to delete the abs, so I need some kind of proportioning valve, there should be one from the first gens right?

And also, to be road legal here(probably wont pass inspections with the bd and bags, but it´s worth a shot:D) I need a parking brake. Does anyone have a good setup to share? Or do you guys just skip it?

Naah, time for some whiskey, maybe that will cure the cold ;)

Found a proportioning valve on summit that I think will do the job. But I can´t seem to find the radiator mount any cheaper, so I´ll probably end up making some on my own.

No fever today, so got a few hours in the garage, mounted the dash to see if everything cleared, and it looked great!
I´m not sure how to fix the fan for the vent. I don´t have AC, and I removed the heater, so I´m only looking to keep the windshield free from fog;) I´ve been thinking about mounting some computerfans in the vents and under the speaker nets on the dash, do you guys think that that will do the trick?

The vent idea would be pretty cool, but they also have some "anti fog" wipes here not sure about there and also not sure if they even work :leave:
