First of all, I borrowed this pic from one of x00's post.

I was wanting to know if anyone had covered the top part of a plastic, base model door panel on a 94-97. The panel looks like this
.
The top of the panel has that line that goes around the handle opening. I was wanting to not have that show when I cover mine with tweed. Can I lay down some foam and be done with it, or will the line conform to the foam as well? If I can't get rid of the line easily, will tweed conform to the line and all the other contours of the hard plastic panel? Most importantly, if you've done this type of panel pleas post picks. Thanks.

you can glue in a piece of plexy or thin wood where the handle used to be, that was the surface would be smooth for tweed.

ps, if you plan on doing his make sure you have some poppers installed if you ever plan on opening your door from the inside. lol
