I just purchased a 93 S10 with 81K. Got it home to pamper it a little with some TLC. After sitting for about 4 hours, it would not start. Cranked fine but no spark or fuel at the injectors. Later next day, first try it started normal. Moved it, started it a couple more times all was normal. An hour later wouldn't start, again no spark no fuel. Anyone have a similiar experience? Any suggestions?

My 85 has the same problem. Check your vacuum lines, mine's rusted out so that is my problem.

Had an 89 Mercury Tracer that would randomly not start, but otherwise ran great. Took me years to figure out that some how water was dripping on the ECM when it rained and the inside of the ECM was corroded. Never put 2 and 2 together that the only time it didn't start was the day after it rained.
On an S10 a more likely possibility is the ICM. You won't get spark of fuel if it's going bad and intermittently not functioning. Check the wiring and connector to it also.
