I was looking things over and doing a little cleaning in the old engine compartment and noticed my right injector dripping fuel while idling.
It runs great. It is pretty peppy and pulls good. No rich smell once it is warmed up good.
Idles at 750 once it is warm.

Both injectors still have a cone, but the dripping one is not as uniform.

A few things I done when I first got the truck.
Replaced the fuel pump assembly.
New fuel pump relay.
Rebuilt the regulator in the tbi.
New fuel filter.
New 02 sensor.
New temp sensor in the intake.

Well, it'll probably run even better when that drippy injector is fixed! Do you have any local shops that do injector cleaning/flow testing? Or find a good deal on a remanufactured one.

Rockauto has a remanufactured injector, with 2-year warranty, gasket kit included, for $27.79 plus shipping and they're running a 10% mfr's rebate on it, too. Plus a $30.00 core charge, refunded when you return the old part.

And just a thought, it probably wouldn't hurt to run a bottle of Gumout Regane fuel system cleaner in the fuel. Maybe it'll clean 'er up. The Regane hi-miles stuff has some top-end lubricant added (or throw some Marvel Mystery Oil in). Walmart is about the cheapest around for the stuff.

I had a "sticky" injector on my 3.4 Trooper and the Regane fixed it up after running for a while.
