I was just pulled the 2nd 2.8l out of my 86...I finally decided it wasn't worth it...I droped a v8 in it and it fit very nice..you'll spend just about the same amount of money doing the swap as you would have if you stuck a rebuilt 2.8 back in it. My suggestion is to get a 4-bolt main 350 crate motor and put that in..you get get them for around $800. get the headers, motor mounts and tranny...and don't ever have to worry about broken parts from the 2.8 again!...Breadman said:Any thoughts on rebuilt engine companys? 2.8L needed.
