Ok I got the motor mounts and headers recommended thru summit and muscle rods and first the header on passengerside doesn’t sit right. They said I needed the mounts they sell $504.12 mounts and trans mount. I got the Headman 45-240 headers. It’s a 5.3 liter and it had a 383 stroker in it and we (Yes it’s a father/ son project ) Want to up grade the power plant before my son gets the idea of going to a 6.0 and turbo.

Screw Headman. Not going to pay $400 for bare steel. I bought the $90 stainless ones off eBay.
Probably made in the same factory as the Headman in Shenzhen.

It helps by suggesting he send the ones that don't fit back and buy some that do.
I suppose I could have posted the step by step.

I have those headers and they fit well in a 2nd gen , I think the were intended for a first gen. I cant really see what your hitting or why. You may have to massage the cab seam.
