I was wondering if anyone may be able to tell me the approximate speeds that the 700R4 tranny shifts from 1-3 gear. I have an 88 S-10 4.3 and I just installed the replacement Holley TBI and a 1 " Poweraid spacer. I am not sure what the correct speeds are that the tranny should shift. It seems like it shifts a little pre-maturely now? Any input would be great! Thanks.

15 -20 mph for the 1-2 shift , mid to high 30's for the 2- 3 shift , and low to mid 50's for the 3-4 shift. this would be under normal load w/ an un-modified tranny , ie. shift kit, high stall convertor, or vette servo.

Hey Thanks

Thanks for the Info! My tranny is standard, so that is what I'll shoot at for the adjustment.
