It appears that swapping vintage iron bodies on S10 chassis' is alive and well on this forum. I have a rare factory fiberglassed topped 1966 2wd Scout Sportop that I want IFS, V6/V8 power, and an overdrive tranny. Rather than weld on aftermarket IFS, new engine to replace 4 cyl/3 speed tranny, etc. etc. why not install the Scout 100" wheelbase body on a 2wd S10 Blazer/Jimmy chassis? Is there detailed information on the S10 frame dimensions and mounting points on this site or the internet?
