I recently was offered parts out of a 57(I believe) flat bed it was being used to water down our arena when it got dusty but we got a newer water truck and I looked at the dash and it it is metal always good and has some perfect spots for gauges swtches and other crap. Anyone ever swapped an old dash like this into their 1st gen? How hard would it be?

And I could have the engine to but I don't think I want a 1957 327 in my 91 I could never pass smog in Cali in thoughts on what to do with the engine

I dont think they made 327's until the '60's.
Its probably a 283 or 348.
