Are 4 inch blocks safe?I've heard a lot of things about them.Is it better just to go with drop leaf? How easy are leafs to put on?I'm someone that knows little about modifying a suspension.

Lowered leafs are a better choice, the 4" blocks hang too low,and create leverage that causes spring wrap on acceleration, I used a 3" leaf, and a 1" block, but I have heard that a 4" leaf settup is available now. not sure who has it. (I checked with Belltech, only 3" for S-10)

LOL guys.. He's asking about a $40 part and you guys are telling him to spend a grand. 4" blocks are fine, just get some shocks intended for the application and it will feel great. I use 3" blocks and would have no problem going to 4" if I had the need.

Sup guys,
I have chassis tech 4 inch angled blocks in back. For some time there was a shortage of leafs here on the islands so I had to opt for the blocks. I get some mild vibration from take off and moving at a really low speed ~5-15mph. Other than that it will do the job. I didnt change out my shocks so I still have the new one. Maybe if I change them out I can tell ya what the change is. Anyway, I'm going lower so I need to buy leafs anyway. I say buy the leafs first. If you need to go lower, then just add blocks. I'm stuck at 4 for now.

Ive got 4" blocks in the rear, only because my plans are to have my ride bagged by this time next year, and i didnt want to invest a whole lot right now, just to end up not using any of the stuff later when its bagged.

As far as the ride goes. I havent experienced any vibration. Just remember if you go 4", you might want to consider cutting off the rear bump stops.

Consider is not an option...they gotta go. I'm going to be hauling my friends motorcycle on Saturday so I'll let you guys know how my back end holds up.

sup fellas,I got 3"leafs and 1" blocks in the rear, removed bumpstops too. It was pretty easy to install (About 15 minutes with 2 guys). Bumpstops took longer:rant: The other day I took a couple of dirtbikes (250's) to the nearby track. With me and a passenger going there was no problem. Going home I guess I still had some dirtbike go get um energy and hit a big dip going a little too fast and BOOM!!!:uhoh: I thought my teeth were gonna fall out. Guess I hit the frame. Nothing broke:) just scared the s..t out of me. When I got home I told my wife what happened. I added if I bag my truck the problem wouldn't happen again. I slept in my truck that night.:bash: just kiddin. 3/4 is solid.
