I'm looking into different methods of dropping my truck. One is air bags. But if I decide to go with a stationary drop what parts would I use for a 350? I want to drop it 4 inches in the front and 6 in the back. I know I would have to use 3" leaf springs and 3" blocks in the back. But, the problem is, I heard that the torque of a 350 will snap the u-bolts on the blocks? Is this true? Any solutions?

You're not gonna have a problem.

I dont think that there is anyway to snap the ubolts. That's how most rear ends are held on.

Hmm. IT didn't seem right. The guy at my local performance store told me this. IT could have just been so I would buy the more exspensive leaf springs. But Anyways. I gotta get both if I'm going 6

I have a 350 with Belltech 3 inch coils, 2 inch spindles, 3 inch leafs, and 4 inch blocks, and I havent had one problem. It sits perfectly too.
