What do you think these noises are?

hey, those sound familiar...oh yeah, those are mine...:(:rolleyes:

by the way, those are from a 93 Jimmy 4x4, with 102,5xx miles


the first one the mic was sittin under the back of the hood, restin against the glass

second was held over driver's side fender

third was sitting under truck, behind pass front tire

ok the 1st one is a mouse stuck in a treadmill
2nd is a WWII plane with a bad propeller
3rd is a 1973 AMC gremlin on NOS

Now that sounds sick! Without being there to confirm it I would say the valve train is in need of some work. Those are the sounds of lifters and pushrods slapping by being out of adjustment and possibly bent. Doesnt have the deep tone of a bearing on the crank. But wrist pins can make some noises of this nature too. Definetly in need of some repair before it causes more trouble. Start with the drivetrain, the cam could be worn out.

yea...but you usually don't hear bottom half noises...ad idle (USUALLY)....you hear thme more with the higher RPM's...but he is right sounds like top end noises.....perhaps lifters...bent pushrods..
