ok, i just finished my box in my ext. cab s-10. I have 4 12 Audiobahn getting pushed by 2000watts. :headbang: i wanted to get pulleys, but my mechanic friend told me it will hurt my altenator really bad and i shouldnt do it.....i am going to add another battery soon....but what do you guys think....

Do it!!! It causes the alternator to spin faster, which gives you more power out of it, but it wears it out a little faster (because it spins faster). If it dies on you, buy a high amp alternator and replace it (only about $100). I have pulleys and haven't had problems yet.

thanks, i found high amp altinators, but they are like 350.....is that right...
