picked up an 01 s10 with a 99 350 in it, thumpr cam, th350 4.10 posi. idles fine carb was rebuilt today. i have the stock fuel pump in it. should i change it? when its in gear it wants to die lines are clear and new filters how much psi should the carb be getting ( i think its a 600cfm ) also the gauge doesnt work ( id like that it would) so is there anything after market for that problem? can anyone help me out? thing runs and drives like a scolded bastard doe, but while not in gear at the stop light. lol

Thats not a fuel delivery problem. The converter is probably too tight when paired with that cam.. You want about 6 psi to the carb.. Make sure theres no mechanical advance at idle, and try the vacuum on ported, but I always run on manifold.
