Other than a little difference in speed, are there any major mechanical worries going from 31" to the 265? I need to replace tires and budget is tight. and as you all know 31x10.5x15 are like the tire makers f&*(&ing baby. Any input is appreciated folks!
I had them (265/75r15s) all around on my 01 2 door RWD. But they were on it when I bought it. So I have no clue if the PO modified anything. Stock swirlies, no spacers. And I don't remember any rubbing. But this was 15 years ago.
Didn't realize they were any cheaper. Lot smaller selection for the 265
If you shop around 31-10.50- can be had just over $100 each. Not Goodyear or Michelin.
Also see a lot of 31's on Facebook marketplace and CL.
31's are some of the cheapest tires around in my area. Check on Facebook Marketplace and CL for both used and new. Most are cheap off Jeeps and they install lift kits.
