Hey everyone, currently Im building my S10 on 24s, its bagged lays frame but not BD

Rims I'm getting are Lexani Dial 24x10 I looked on all the forums to see if anyone discussed width of rim and not many have, 24x10, im guessing is possible just sharp turns are out of the question

Anyone rolling a 24x10?

Second, Though this is more for a wheel/tire post, what tires is everyone rolling with a 24s, Im not sure which ones to roll, either a 265 or 275? + rubber bands

I know many are opposed by the 24'' look, perfectly fine, help if you can please!!

Getting that much lift is a must when you tuck that much. He is turning there, and im sure once he gets going strait he will drop it back down. He is just showing off lift in the rear.

Thats what i would be doing if it was me.

just be sure to know your offset before getting the wheels. 10" wide wheel is pretty fawkin wide. i have 22 X 9.5" with a plus 15 offset and my wheels hug the rear rails pretty fricken tight.
i used to run the line for my EDC and to my air tanks on the outside of the passenger side rail but when i got the 22 X 9.5" wheels and 235/30 tires (kinda stretch for 9.5" wide) i had to reroute the line to the inside cuz it was so close and sometime rubbing. 24 X 10" is def doable tho

yeah it sucks, its so hard to find 24x9, well rims I want, Lexani only roll 24x10, I was worried on the rear rails, but I could always get wheel spacers I guess, and or re-do the axle to have it sick out farther on each end,

and to go back to the donk picture, I rolled 22s for a bit and i always rolled in sitting high to show off the lift, people would get so pissed coz they thought it was just some idiot that threw rims on his truck, then you park and drop it, and then those same guys appreciate it

You dont have to like 24s, I can see why people dont like it, but dont knock the time and craftsmanship that goes into being able to do it, much more work than running lil 18s or 20s

I still have the MT issue from 5 years ago with a black s10 bd on 22s, and that was thought to be insane, ideas and innovations are what makes doing this so much fun, so many options

Just to clear up whatever it is you're trying to prove, I never knocked the work done to this truck which is why I said I loved it slammed and tucking. The lifted pic reminds me of a donk.... I didn't SAY it WAS a donk... And in most cases, some people have to lift the front to turn on 20s also.

And on a side note, you tell people not to knock on 24s, you shouldn't knock on 20s either... just because 24s take a lot of work to lay or BD doesn't mean 20s are "bolt-on" easy to lay or BD...

20s are easy to lay without a bd. A friend of mine done it here in a few weeks wile working a full time job. I dont remember tire size tho.

Im laying 15s with with stock spindles with a 4in bd measured at the front horns. thats not easy considering i have full size tires on them.

It all depends your tire size and other measures to whats easy or not.

20s may not be bolt on, but they are no where near the work needed for 24s. so dont act like 20s and 24s are the same boat.

To me laying 24s on a s10 IS PROVING SOMETHING.

This goes to show how s10forum has the situations it always has... all this back-and-forth that pretty much started when all I basically said was that "I didn't like the lifted pic"

Of course there's more work to lay 22s and more to lay 24s... Of course he has to lift it that high to turn. It's so ridiculously obvious it's not worth talking about... And there's probably more to it that I don't really care to bring up because I don't have 22s or 24s.

I mean if you guys are all butt hurt on me saying I didn't like it lifted then I'm sorry... and you can ask the mods to delete it.

its not that hard lol.

my truck on 29.3" tall tires.. It could lay a 265/30/24 with a little bigger firewall tubs. With heat and a/c. :D

So just as easy as 20s? lol

Its like everyone wanting a bolt on body drop kit.

All im saying is at some point it takes a lil more effort and understanding, and if someone has shown that dont say things to slander that.

simple point. I myself have more respect for a truck laying on 24s vs. 20s any day of the week. (Granted is not a pos hack) I have yet to see a s10 laying on 24s that is a total hack anyway.

sick truck btw.
