I have a donor 2003 chevy express 2500 that I'm taking the rear end and fuel pump out of and trying to put in my 1st gen extended cab s10. Project is a phantom dually s10. Question is, I'm wondering if the in-tank pump from the van will work in the s10s stock tank. I'm going to upgrade line pressure. Just not sure if it's going to fit or be worth it. Also wondering on the rear end what all I'm most likely forgetting is going to be involved. Spring perches, shock mounts, brake lines, what else?

The van most likely has a plastic sending unit in it, if you're planning on using the stock s10 tank a different fuel pump is probably a better option. Delphi FE0114 is a stock pump for a CPI 4.3, it flows 35gph has a max pressure of 85psi. Typically the CPI's need 65psi constant pressure to run and it should fit the stock hanger/sending unit for a first gen.
