2002 Chevrolet S-10, 2.2 engine, 5-speed manual transmission, less then 15,000 original miles.
Project truck, needs the following...
- Rear end
- New back half
- Front coilovers or bags
I bought this truck brand new in 2002. It was always my show truck. Over the years I did a lot of modifications to it. About 10 years ago, I started tearing the truck down to build a pro-touring/race truck. I cut off the rear frame and built a custom backhalf. I never finished the rear suspension though. I have decided to move on and sell the truck, so I removed almost all of the aftermarket parts and put the original parts back.
This truck needs a new rear end. I sold the original since I was planning on putting a stronger rear end in it. It will most likely need a new back half. This one is actually an air tank and it's designed for a specific type of suspension. You'll want to build your own. It's just temporarily welded so it will be easy to cut it off. There is still a lot of the original frame rail to attach your back half to. I had shockwaves in the front of it, so I had to cut the spring retainers out of the spring pockets. You'll need a set of coilovers or a set of bags up front. It hasn't run in 10 years, so you may need to do a little prep work to get it running again.
The paint and body are excellent on this truck. It's been garaged it's whole life. Never driven in the winter, and only in the rain a couple times. Zero rust anywhere. All the parts that are not currently on the truck are in boxes. You won't have to hunt down emission parts, wiring, etc. This is an excellent project truck for somebody.
$2800. Not interested in trades. I'll be more then happy to answer any questions you may have. Have a good day.
