So I found this tucked under the carpet in my 01 pickup. It’s plugged in, but was, and is currently, lying on the floor. Any one know what it is?

With only 3 purple and 3 tan wires you'd think it be easy to ID. I couldn't find anything in the 01 wiring diagrams wired like that. Also the number molded into it has letters. GM doesn't use letters in their part numbers.

Search that part number with “Rhino PAC”, it looks like part of a clutch rod/clutch pedal assembly.

It's the clutch safety switch (with pushrod still attached). Does your truck have a manual trans, or did it used to?

Geez, I was wayyyyyyyyyy off. My best edecaytud guess was a mega volt hypersonic magnetic initiation coil for the flux capacitor quantum overdrive unit. 😛

That would make sense as someone attempted a manual trans swap, gave up, and the PO put it back to an auto trans. So I should be able to remove this part and tape up the wires. Thanks everyone!!
