I maybe way off base here, but if you like to sit and spin the tires with a 2.2L automatic S10, I think the problem is obvious, and it's not the transmission.

Although I feel the issue is likely the size of your right foot, did you think to flush out the transmission lines and replace the radiator to get rid of all the nasty stuff in the system from the first time you blew it up? Which ended up in the replacement transmission.

this is about the only thing you wrote I can understand.
the tranny started to make a grinding noise so stopped n checked it good fluid no leaks got in to leave again no reverse n was grinding in drive
the transmission was grinding? What caused the grinding noise?
so got a used tranny n tork converter put it in drive good for a week or so and the did it again started grinding and no reverse
did you figure out what happened to the old trans? Or you just decide a new trans and convertor was the fix it to your issue?
but I can sit here and spin the tires in drive no problem.
I highly doubt this statement.
Any ideas
literally no. You told us nothing of any value, and there fore it is completely and utterly impossible to provide even an ounce of help due to the lack of information. Please rewrite your entire situation fully using descriptive and full, complete sentences, that tells what happened to your vehicle.
