First post. Oh boy! I have a 2000 s10 2.2L Etended cab Manual 5-Speed, I was wondering if there is any way I can change the oil pan without completely removing the engine? It looks like I might be able to remove the 2 motormount bolts and raise the engine up enough. Has anyone tried this? Thanks, Jerry

You cold get by but it'll be very tight and it's easier to do this when your truck is on the lift.

Most of the time engine gets pulled out for oil pan R&I without the lift.

Looking at the new oil pan, I am pretty sure I will have to remove the
engine, O well the throw out bearing is making noise any way.
The guy I bought it from mickey moused the install on the rebuild and
I am anal about my stuff.
Thanks Jerry
