a friend of mine has a 86 2.8 with a throttle body. he wants to know if the comp,& wiring will work if he puts a small block with a throttle body,or will he have to use the comp,& wiring from the v8? :stickpoke thanks for any info.

2.8 electronics won't switch over. He has to get everything from a camaro or caprice or something.

I have a 1986 2.8 4x4 blazer and want to put a small block (327, 289) in it. I am not sure if I am going to carb engine or not. so I need to know what parts I need.
