Anyone know if it's possible to bolt up a Turbo 350, 700R4 or a 200R4 to a 2.2 engine? Any adaptor plates availble for doing this? The truck has a 5-speed in it now. We just bought it and the trans is junk (knew it before buying it), the main shaft and cluster are broken. This is the second trans in this truck and it only has 140,000 miles. The engine was rebuilt only a few thousand miles ago and runs perfect.
This is a first vehicle for my son. It's already lowered adn is in excellent condition besides the trans being messed up.
Just a thought don't now if it will work but the stock transmission's in these things seem like they are crap!
