I just replaced my rattling original cat on my 2000 S10 with a direct-fit aftermarket replacement. I had no idea what the torque specs for the bolts on the flanges were though, so I just played it safe and torqued them to 20 ft-lbs. I definitely have a small leak though because I can hear a high-pitched hissing from the area. I wanna torque the bolts down to spec to see if that fixes the issue before taking it to a muffler shop.

Anyone got torque specs for the cat flanges that would be willing to share them? Unfortunately the cat flange specs are not listed on that one post with all of the rest of the trucks specs.

In the case I can't get torque specs, that's exactly what I'm gonna do. Wanted to do my due diligence first though.
