I just went through the verification of the various turn signal switch functions and this is how to check it.
The darn thing is rather complex and difficult to understand.
For the Brake function, pin P supplies 12v power and goes to the rear lights by pins M and N.
For the Hazard Switch, pin K supplies 12v power, goes to the front lights by pins H and S and to the rear lights by pins M and N. However applying the brakes will cause the 12v power from pin P to override the flashers so constant brake lights are shown.
For a Right Turn, pin P supplies 12v power to pin M and pin L supplies 12v power to the right front light through pin J and to the right rear light through pin N.
For a Left Turn, Pin P supplies 12v to pin N and pin L supplies 12v power to the left front light through pin H and the left rear light through pin M.
