So I have re-build a few 350’s and a 305 and a old 4.3L like 89 ish, every one I ran the motor and lashed the valves with a small curved piece of tin to catch the oil and try to stop it from going every where.

A hippy neighbor of mine came by recently and said that there is a way to lash the valves with out running the motor. I did some research and apparently its legit. Problem I have is I cant find anything on a 4.3L v6

Has anyone done this and if so did you go ¼” turn or ½ or 1/8 any info would be nice I’m not looking forward to lashing this while its running

This is some info I found
