Here is the assembly, key words "transmission cross shaft Linkage Bushing Spring"

On my truck I found a wavy washer on the base of position 1, visible when you remove the shaft. My truck had a lot of wear on the long bent transmission cross shaft because of a missing washer under the hitch pin at position 1, and my truck was missing a washer at position 2. With these issues fixed with perfectly fitted washers, the shifter is tighter than a cable setup and I love it. I spent half an hour leading the long bent cross shaft with a soldering iron to repair the worn shaft and about 15 minutes filing a washer to fit very tightly. Just add material and washers where needed until the assembly is tight yet not binding. Lubed everything with white lithium grease, heavily. The rust at position 3 and 4 was very bad. If I forget to grease this linkage every year I'm sure it will be rusted to nothing in half a decade and worn to nothing in another decade or so. Plastic bushing was worn and spring was rusty. There was a washer on top of the spring at pos. 3 that I reused that bears on bushing 4. Washer #2 in the kit fits perfect on position 1 or 2, make sure there is a washer in both if you can fit them. Overall very satisfied with the ebay kit.

I don't think the wavy is custom application and I think a generic wavy will work.
The spring action of the wavy should help eliminate slop even though it's not in the kit. My rod from steering column to cross shaft, the piece on the end that bolts up has it's own metal bushing built into the "nut" where it's cone shaped, so with wear and spring pressure it shouldn't get too sloppy and just pushes deeper into the worn hole.

I have slop on literally every pivot point except the joint at the steering column brake booster area. I'm probably gonna just weld and solder things up and file to fit perfect, minus the plastic cone bushing. I will replace that, along with the spring and the flat washer that comes in the kit.

They don't make a bushing for the transmission bracket that accepts the bent end of the cross shaft, and the slots on my transmission bracket are way too large, and welding/soldering it tighter will go much quicker than trying to find a replacement that might just be the same.
There's no washer under the hair pin, and maybe this adds to the slop? I'll figure it out.
