I had my cam ground at a shop kind of a back yard machine shop. He said the cam was gound to 214 with .050 lift on intake and 222 with .050 lift exhaust 488 intake and 509 exhaust with 112° lobe angle. I'm curious to if I need to advance or retard my timing and will this cam grind work with stock ecm parameters.

112 lobe you are pushing the limits of being computer friendly on the TBI motors IMO. .488 and 509 is also pushing the limits of the stock rockers and springs. Not sure if you got any other mods like screw in rocker studs or not. I recently went through a "hot" 4.3 tbi build and i have found for my cam about 1 degree advance on timing is good for power and idle, however my comp cam is 428 intake .459 exhaust and 114 lobe separation. If your cam was ground indexed on 4.3 geometry make sure and use a 4.3 specific timing set. The SBC will fit but changes the cam timing by 4 degrees as i recall.
