So I’ve got a 1991 s10 with the 4.3 and it will start great when cold and drive great, accelerate good and take fuel no problem. But as soon as she warms up and gets to operating temp, it will not take anything past half throttle and I can start to smell gas under acceleration , and if you shut it off and let it sit for about 5 mins it cranks for a while then will hardly start. I’ve replaced injectors, fuel pump, fpr, coolant temp sensor, fuel filter.

Well I just replaced the fuel pressure regulator assembly because I could hear what seemed to be a pressure leak after I shut it off. Maybe this will help narrow it down.

Go buy the things you need to put a pressure gauge on it and see. The thing that goes inline between your throttle body and pressure line with the valve on it and a gauge.

Could it possibly be bad or dirty egr valve?

A faulty engine temperature sensor or broken wire to it will make the ECM think it's -40° and cause over fueling. It's the one with 2 wires. Usually black and yellow. The sender with 1 green wire is for the gauge and not relevant to the issue.
