New poster here. Have the truck above. RF brake line decided to go right before the connection to the brake hose (in wheel well). Ordered Right Stuff TKT8901: Front Brake Line Kit 1989 Chevy S10 Truck | JEGS to save time. But the longer piece (the front kit only has 5 pcs, and only one longer piece) doesn't seem to be the right fit. The current RF section goes from RF wheel well and ties into a 3 way under the driver side. Maybe that's not original? Can't seem to find routing diagram on line. Grrr. Any guidance out there? Thx in advance.

Welcome to the forum ! I replaced ALL my brake lines on my 91 which is the same system as yours, but I used bendable line and made them myself. I am old, don't remember if there was a 3 way under drivers side or not. Someone will chime in soon to help you (y)😊

Doubt you'll find a brake line routing diagram. I've never seen one. Not even in all the literature available from GM in 89. Including service manuals.
Since the 89 2wd's didn't have any ABS yet, a 3 way tee in the front system makes sense. From the master you'd have 2 lines. One to the rear which tee's above the differential and one to the front to feed both front brakes. Gotta split somewhere and directly below the master would be the logical place.
If the lines aren't right, contact the seller as to why. They may have sent a 4wd set???

Not sure how this piece could ever tie into brake hose assembly in R wheel hub. Current line comes over the top and drops down into brake hose assembly. This one? What the heck am I missing. View attachment 350681
So, you just hate bendable line? Just did all my lines with bendable in 2 hours. I understand you don't like bendable, but it all this hassle really easier ? And bendable is super cheap, I did every single brake line on my truck for 50 bucks. Not hating bro, just trying to help.

I thought I replied to this (I wonder what I replied to). Anyway - learned my lesson. Ordered up some copper nickel lines, pulled the leaking line, molded new lines to old (or close), flared, all set. Back on the road. Now my wipers are stuck. Off to post again ...
